We are currently seeking a qualified Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. The Aircraft Sheet Metal Worker will be responsible for reading and interpreting manufacturing plans, cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal and clad metal parts using numerical control machine tools, ensuring compliance with required conditions, criteria, and precision standards.

Location: St-Laurent, Quebec

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work procedures based on the structural parts to be manufactured or assembled.
  • Use measuring instruments to ensure precision in fabrication.
  • Adjust tool, punch, and die parameters in accordance with guidelines.
  • Perform cutting and drilling operations using a numerical control punching machine.
  • Produce bent parts using a simple programming press brake with two axes.
  • Operate a numerical control press brake with more than two axes.
  • Execute necessary corrections and adjustments for project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with precision standards.
  • Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations, including WHMIS.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Professional Study Diploma (D.E.P.) in Aircraft Sheet Metal or an equivalent combination of qualifications.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of relevant experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments.
  • Familiarity with numerical control machine tools.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and workplace best practices.
  • Functional knowledge of French is required.
