ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration, Product Design/Development and Software/Product Testing for highly regulated industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace.  We are currently seeking a qualified Engineering Technician to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

Location: Savannah, Georgia (Hybrid)
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform functions requiring knowledge and use of electronic applications, standards, and document control processes/procedures in support of creating or modifying deliverable.
• Provide technical guidance to other engineering technicians.  
• Responsible for the development site drainage, grading, utility plans using Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Microstation. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Certificate preferred. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
• Must have experience with Autodesk Civil 3D; Autodesk AutoCAD ;Bluebeam.
• Must have 5 years related experience. 
• Significant Civil 3D experience is required with use of pipe/pressure networks, proposed grading surfaces and plan and profile development.
• Must have experience in the appropriate electronic applications and programs required for performing assignments to include but not limited to CADD or other electronic applications.  
• Advanced ability to interpret engineering deliverable content as assigned.    
• Intermediate industry knowledge and technology trends.  
• Intermediate knowledge of company quality program.  
• Intermediate knowledge of other disciplines.  
• Basic knowledge of construction & constructability practices & principles.  
• Basic knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides related to assigned engineering discipline.  
• Basic knowledge of procurement & contract administration.
