SR. ADVANCED SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration, Product Design/Development and Software/Product Testing for highly regulated industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace.  We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Advanced Software Engineer to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

Location: Kanata, ON (On-site)
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications.
• Support and/or install software applications/operating systems.
• Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in a related area.
• 5 years Experience in coding using Java.
• Working knowledge of SOAP and REST APIs.
• Working knowledge on Databases (Preferably Sybase).
• Comfortable to migrate legacy software, define architecture, and implement the same.
• Experience working with messaging technologies (preferably ActiveMQ).
